Spurs Day in Larnaca
Submitted by CyprusYid on February 15, 2012 - 5:31 am 5 CommentsThe Cyprus Spurs Supporters Club together with Sotiris and John, The Hosts of The Meeting Pub, Finikoudes, Larnaca, are delighted to invite all CSSC members on Sunday, 26th February 2012, for a meal, before the big London Derby, Arsenal vs Spurs.
Dinner will be served at 13.00. For more information please contact your local area representatives.

What !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dinner will be served at 13:00 hours ???????????????
First of all it’s Lunch and not Dinner and secondly 13:00 hours is a little too early because the game only kicks off at 15:30 hours meaning that you have allowed 2.5 hours for Lunch. Seems that you are all very slow eaters, which I can’t believe. Anyway, I’ll be there at 13:00 hours as arranged by you. Cheers.

Hey! Are you forgetting how much Cypriots eat? Remember their moto? “The world eats to survive, but the Cypriot lives to eat!”
On behalf of the Committee, I would like to officially thank Sotiris and John as well as all the members of staff of The Meeting Pub at Larnaca for working hard to make the Spurs Day a reality, it was just unfortunate of the match result.
There was representation of our members from both Limassol and Nicosia but none from Paphos, and those who did attend were not up to the numbers expected.
Hopefully at the next organised event the numbers will increase. Once again our extended thanks to The Meeting Pub. COYS !!!!!!

Sotiris and John, Thank you for your kind hospitality at The Meeting Pub. The food was plentiful and delicious. The atmosphere was charged with excitement in the top part of the venue until the score started to favour the red team. Disappointed with the turn out from all regions, not only the absent, but including the ones with representation. I share Big Terry’s hope that the end of season ‘bash’ in Limassol will be attended by many more! Look out for updates and official announcements, here on Cyprus’s only officially recognised by THFC, Spurs supporters fan club website! COYS!!!
